When these emotional wounds go unaddressed, they can fester and negatively impact our mental health. They become fertile ground for the development of different types of mental health problems. Our psyche is wounded, and as a result, our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are affected.

This can involve practices such as mindfulness, journaling, engaging in hobbies, and nurturing healthy relationships. Building and maintaining supportive relationships can be instrumental in healing emotional wounds. Connecting with others who offer empathy, understanding, and validation can create a safe space for emotional healing and growth. It is through these relationships that we can feel seen, heard, and supported on our journey toward mental wellness.
